Sovereign software. You hold the keys, you sign the transactions.

By using xete you agree to these terms. xete is sovereign, on-device software: your identity is a keypair you control, your keys live on your hardware (or your device) and never touch our server, and on-chain actions (claiming a %alias, trading on the Counter, swapping) are Solana transactions you sign yourself — final, public, and outside anyone's ability to edit, reverse, or refund, including ours. We provide the software and relay ciphertext; we never hold your funds or keys, and we can't recover, freeze, or reverse anything for you.

xete is not directed at, and may not be used by, anyone under 13. You're responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, including any restrictions on cryptocurrency or blockchain use in your jurisdiction.

Your identity is a Solana keypair. xete requires a Solana Saga or Seeker phone: your keypair is generated and held in the device's hardware Seed Vault secure element and never leaves it. You are solely responsible for your keys and your device. We cannot recover a lost key, reverse a signed transaction, or restore access to a deleted or lost wallet — there is no account-recovery flow, because we never hold anything to recover. Keep your own backups.

Claiming a %alias, posting or accepting a trade on the Counter, swapping, and settling are all Solana transactions you sign and submit yourself, through the AXTREG and AXTSWAP programs. They cost network fees and, where applicable, a program fee — both disclosed in the app before you sign. Once a transaction is confirmed on-chain, it is permanent. No refunds are given on names or chain fees. Fee schedules and program addresses may change with notice; a transaction you've already signed is not affected retroactively.

xete uses Jupiter's public API for swap quotes and routing, and Helius for on-chain reads. We don't control these services, don't guarantee their accuracy or uptime, and you use them at your own risk as part of using xete. NFT and token art/metadata may be sourced from the collection's own on-chain or IPFS/Arweave records, which we don't control or verify for accuracy. Any third-party service we integrate is required to handle it consistently with our Publisher Policy obligations.

Don't use xete to violate the law, to abuse, harass, threaten, or defraud other users, to post or send unlawful, hateful, violent, exploitative, or sexually explicit content, to attempt to compromise the app, the relay, or the on-chain programs, or to interfere with other users' access to the service. We cannot read message content (see the privacy policy), so we moderate at the account level — blocking, in-app reporting, and account-level suspension — not by scanning content. Every user can block a sender and report content directly from the app. We may suspend or terminate an account's access to the off-chain relay/messaging service for violating these terms; we cannot and do not revoke or freeze anything already on-chain (your %alias, your wallet, your trade history), since none of it is ours to control.

The xete name, logo, and app are ours; using the app doesn't give you rights to them beyond what's needed to use the service normally. Anything you create or send through xete (messages, contact cards, listings) stays yours. NFTs and tokens you hold or trade are governed by their own collection's terms and on-chain provenance, not by us.

xete is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Software has bugs; networks have outages; blockchains reorg; markets move against you. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or profitable to use, and we don't guarantee any particular price, quote, or trade outcome you see through third-party data sources.

To the fullest extent the law allows, XETENET LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost funds, lost keys, or lost profits arising from your use of xete — including from a signed on-chain transaction, a third-party service outage, or a lost or compromised device. Nothing here limits liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

We'll post changes here. Continued use after a change means acceptance. If a change is material, we'll try to flag it in the app too.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you have a dispute, contact us first at xetenet@gmail.com — we'd rather resolve it directly.
