One card. Your identity, your messages, your trades, your vault.

You'll confirm you're 13 or older — a one-time check that happens on your phone, not a signup — then tap Unlock and approve two Seed Vault prompts: one makes your identity key, one your messaging key.

The app opens on your Vault, an encrypted store for notes and files that lives on your phone. There's a "Read me first" note waiting; tap the vault door to unlock it.

Prefer to land somewhere else? Settings > Homepage lets you open on Home or Wallet instead.

• Messages — send notes that only the other person can read. Nobody in between, including us, can open them.
• Names — claim a short name, like %yourname, so people can reach you without typing a long wallet address.
• Trade — swap coins instantly, or trade an NFT/token directly with another person, no company holding anyone's money in between.
• Vault — a locked, private place on your phone to keep files.

Solana Saga and Solana Seeker have a special locked chip built in called Seed Vault. Your secret key — the thing that proves your wallet and your identity are really yours — is generated inside that chip and never leaves it. That's what lets xete promise nobody, not even the people who built xete, can read your messages, move your money, or pretend to be you.

Developers and testers working without one of these phones on hand can use Solana Mobile's own Seed Vault Simulator to try the app on a regular Android device or emulator: docs.solanamobile.com/developers/seed-vault.

A bar at the bottom of the screen gets you everywhere: Home, Wallet, Trade, Message, and Explorer by default — pick your own set of 2–5 in Settings, Vault included.

Your Home card responds to swipes too, as a shortcut:

• Swipe the card down for your Wallet.
• Swipe the card left for your Messages.
• Swipe the card right to show your QR code, so someone can scan it to add you.
• Swipe the card right again, past the QR code, and it flips to a gold thumbprint — press and hold that for your Vault.
• Swipe the card up and it flips around to Contacts, Explorer, and Settings.

Messaging, browsing, and talking to %echo cost nothing. Two things use a small amount of real SOL, because they write permanently onto Solana's public ledger: Small cost

• Claiming a %name — six letters or more is free, and you cover only the network's one-time rent and gas, usually well under a dollar. Shorter names carry a one-time premium, so paying is optional.
• Trading or swapping — a real transaction, the same as on any exchange.

Open your Wallet and look for Trade:

• Instant — swap one coin for another right away, at the current market price.
• OTC (over the counter) — buy or sell an NFT or token directly with another person, contract-enforced, with no company holding the assets in between.
